Terms of Service

1. The service

Agent Karlo is an AI coding agent available via IDE, CLI, and VS Code extension (API coming soon), powered by frontier models including DeepSeek V4-Flash-VL and MiniMax M3.5. It plans multi-step tasks, writes and edits code, runs tests, and iterates until the job is done. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. Plans and billing

• Free Trial: Rs. 0 for 1 month, both frontier models, full access, no card required.
• Pro: Rs. 1,000/month — 100 billion tokens/month, priority queue, long-running tasks.
• Max: Rs. 2,000/month — 200 billion tokens/month, first access to new models.

Token quotas reset monthly and do not roll over. Anonymous use is limited to 30 minutes. Prices are in Pakistani Rupees and may change with 30 days' notice. See our Refund Policy for cancellations and refunds.

3. Fair use

Token limits are generous but not unlimited. Reselling access, sharing one account across unrelated teams, scraping, or deliberately circumventing quotas or rate limits is prohibited and may lead to throttling or suspension.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Agent Karlo to: break the law; build malware, unauthorized intrusion tooling, or exploits against systems you do not own or have permission to test; harass others; infringe intellectual property; or generate disallowed content. Security researchers must only target systems they are authorized to test. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.

5. Your code and IP

You keep ownership of code and content you provide and of the output generated for you, subject to third-party rights in underlying libraries or models. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate the service. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated code — it may contain errors. Always test, audit for security, and back up before deploying to production.

6. Third-party models and tools

Outputs depend on third-party frontier models and open-source packages. Availability, quality and speed may vary. The CLI install command (npm i -g agent-karlo) and extensions may fetch third-party dependencies governed by their own licenses.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance, model-provider outages, or quota resets may cause downtime. Contact karlo@vincenzoroot.com for support — Pro and Max users receive priority queueing.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months before the claim (or Rs. 5,000 if on a free plan). We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or broken builds.

9. Termination

You may cancel anytime; paid access continues until the end of the billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment, abuse, or violation of these terms. Sections on IP, liability and governing law survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes will first be addressed informally via karlo@vincenzoroot.com, failing which the courts of Lahore, Pakistan shall have jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves (e.g. new models, API launch). We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, notify you by email.
