Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Agent Karlo ("we", "us") is an AI coding agent product by VR / Vincenzo Root Pvt, built in Pakistan for users everywhere. Contact us at karlo@vincenzoroot.com for any privacy question.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email address you provide on signup / waitlist (e.g. via the free-trial form).
• Usage data: features used, token consumption, plan type (Free Trial, Pro, Max), device and browser type.
• Content you provide: prompts, code, files and repository context you send to the agent so it can do its job.
• Payment data: we do not store card numbers. Payments (when enabled) are processed by our payment provider, which shares only confirmation and billing metadata with us.

3. How we use it

• Provide and operate Agent Karlo across IDE, CLI and VS Code extension.
• Enforce plan limits (e.g. 100B tokens/month Pro, 200B tokens/month Max, 30-min anonymous limit).
• Improve reliability, debug failures, prevent abuse.
• Send transactional emails (signup confirmation, billing, security notices). No spam.

4. AI model processing

To generate answers, your prompts and relevant code context are sent to our frontier model providers (currently DeepSeek V4-Flash-VL and MiniMax M3.5, more coming soon). We do not allow providers to use your private code to train their models beyond what is required to serve your request, subject to their own policies. Do not submit secrets, passwords or production credentials — use environment variables and redacted examples.

5. Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure, analytics and payment vendors needed to run the service, under confidentiality obligations. We never sell your personal data. We disclose data if required by applicable Pakistani law or a valid legal order.

6. Retention

Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure for fraud prevention and accounting. Prompt logs used for debugging are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted or anonymized.

7. Security & cookies

We use TLS in transit and access-controlled storage. No system is 100% secure, so please use unique passwords and API keys. This site uses only strictly necessary cookies/local storage for preferences; we do not run cross-site ad trackers.

8. Your rights

Email karlo@vincenzoroot.com to request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data. We respond within 30 days. Deleting account data cancels your trial/plan access.

9. Children

Agent Karlo is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian's permission.

10. Changes

We will post updates on this page and change the date above. Material changes will be announced by email where possible.
